Your Second Position On The Ballot Paper Possibly Represents The ‘Second Defeat’ Of Mahama – Kweku Baako to NDC

December 7,2020, the day of the general election for Ghana, is near the corner, and political parties are preparing themselves towards it.
All the political parties have chosen the position they wish to occupy on the ballot paper.

The The National Democratic Congress(NDC) picked number two(2) and using using it as a campaign mantra, says it represents the the second coming of their presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama(JM).

The second position of the NDC was selected by their deputy General Secretary, Mr. Peter Boamah Otukonor.

On the other hand, their biggest obstacle, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is first on the ballot paper.

Coming third is The Ghana Union Movement, Convention People’s Party comes fourth, Ghana Freedom Party occupies position 5, Great Consolidated People’s Party is sixth, All People’s Congress selected seventh position, the Liberal Party Ghana, People’s National Congress, Progressive Peoples Party, National Democratic Party and independent candidate Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker comes eighth(8), ninth(9), tenth(10) eleventh(11) and twelfth(12) respectively on the ballot paper.
After JM’s defeat in the 2016 general elections, he seeks a relection this year.

And the party vehemently believes their second position represends their second coming.

However, coming from a different angle, journalist Kweku Baako speaking on Peace FM’s ”Kokrokoo” say the NDC’s second position possibly represents their second defeat after the 2016 elections.
