Abena Serwaah Mankosa, a female teacher at Aninkroma D/A Primary School in Adankwame District in the Ashanti Region, has revealed in an interview monitored by smartandstuck.com, that she is not interested in teaching in her current district.
According to her, the treatment meted out to her for doing what is right has dampened her spirit and her zeal to continue with her charitable works.
For this, she does not want to even be in the District anymore and has initiated the process of getting transfered to a different district.
“I’m not interested to teach in my district again. If they don’t appreciate what I’m doing at least they should not dampen my spirit”, she said on Angel TV.
The Primary one teacher made headlines for spicing her students meals by adding eggs, plantain and sometimes drinks to supplement the food given to them by government.
Her act of generosity has been met with strong accusations from the Director of Education and the District Chief Executive in the Atwima Nwabiagya North, Rebecca Yeboah, which according to information available to smartandstuck.com, has threatened to press criminal charges against teacher Abenah if she continues enriching her students meals.
Abenah Serwaah indicated in the interview that her phone’s screen even got cracked in her struggle with some officials at the DCE’s office and two of her application she bought on Appstore also got deleted.
