VGMA: Virtual Concert Or No Concert At All – Charterhouse Speaks

The Public Relations Officer of Charterhouse, Mr. Robert Klah, has said that this year’s virtual concert might not come off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This comes in the wake measures laid down by the president in order to prevent further spread of the disease.

The government of Ghana has placed a ban on all social gatherings including mosque and church services and urged the public to adhere to precautionary measures to help curb the deadly virus.

Asked on The Big Show on Class91.3FM, if Charterhouse will engage in virtual concert if things continue till the end of the year, he replied: “It could mean that or it could mean that we might not even have it; everything is possible,”.

According to him, they have to consider having a virtual concert or do it after the ban on social gatherings.

“Because the thing is like I said, there are a couple of things we need to consider, so, if we don’t see it necessary to organize it now because of the ban, we still have to evaluate the pros and cons of organizing it later – either come to some consideration.”
