UN Dissociates Itself From Fake Awards Saga

The United Nations (UN) office in Accra Ghana has said they have no connections to the fake awards that were given out to influential Ghanaian media personalities and others by one Kwame Owusu Fordjuor popularly known as Dr UN.

A statement issued by the UN said “The attention of the United Nations in Ghana has been drawn to news reports of an award purported to be associated with the UN and the Kofi Annan Foundation.

“The UN in Ghana in Ghana wishes to state categorically that the UN has no affiliation with the Blue Print Global Challenge Awards nor with the Organizers.

“The UN advises that all genuine UN notices follow strict rules and procedures and are announced/published on UN websites.

“We advise the general public to access genuine information by visiting the relevant UN agencies websites or the UN Ghana website,” the statement said.
