The Supreme Court begins hearings on the presidential election petition brought before it by the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) 2020 flagbearer, John Mahama.

In a report by GTV’s Supreme correspondent, as monitored by Fillabase.com, the Supreme Court of Ghana has adjourned the hearing of the election petition filed by John Dramani Mahama to Tuesday, January 19, 2020,

This was after the court started hearing the case on Thursday, January 14.

Meanwhile, the petitioners had argued that the demand is in the interest of fairness as was done during the 2012 election petition hence the 2020 petition should be aired on TV of which their request has since been granted by the court.
