Former military President Jerry John Rawlings saved veteran Journalist, Kweku Baako, from being killed by officers.
A dear companion, Riad Hosiefe, uncovered this in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen program, Monday.
The wrongdoing of the veteran writer, he guaranteed, was by and large exceptionally reproachful of the recent Rawlings’ system.
Riad Hosiefe said severely, he, along with certain warriors, wanted to murder Mr. Baako for considering the President a “charlatan” in other words, ‘Bastard’.
However, oddly, he said the late Rawlings caught wind of their plot and cautioned them to revoke their choice.
“Rawlings said if anything should happen to Kweku Baako, he will hold us responsible so we stopped. Kwaku Baako owes his life to Rawlings,” Mr Hosiefe claimed.
He said he is making this known to show the soft side of the late Rawlings.
Mr Hosiefe, who has been a friend to Mr Rawlings for close to 50 years, said Ghana has lost a great gem.
