The President of Ghana has promised to construct a bridge in the Oti Region. Aside that, President Akufo Addo has promised to upgrade the Kete-Krachi Town roads, the Midwifery and nurses training school in the area, so as the Military Barracks.
President Akufo Addo made all these known at a durbar Organized at Krachi West Constituency in the Oti Region.
” No matter what happens, the construction of the bridge will happen”, he added.
The construction of the Kete-Krachi road was estimates to cost about Ghc58 million, and it’s expected to be completed within a year.
The Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr. Kwasi Amoako Atta, estimated the cost of the bridge also to be 125 million Euros.
“Construction of the bridge will help prevent the slow movement of people, goods and services by ferry across the Oti River”. President Akufo Addo explained.
He continued to urge all the people of the Oti Region to vote for him, since he had the entire Kete-Krachi and Oti Region at heart.
He showed great appreciation to the leaders and the people of the Region for their support of the New Patriotic Party.
President of the Oti Regional House of Chiefs, Nana Mprah Besemuna III, spoke highly of President Akufo Addo for all the developmental projects he planned on doing for the Region.
“The people of Krachi and Oti will push you up for the good things you have done”, Nana Mprah accounted.
