President Akufo-Addo Introduces The Governing Board of RTI Commission

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has introduced the Governing Board of the Right to Information Commission at a function at Jubilee House which is the seat of the country’s administration. He inaugurated them according to the institution

The Commission is led by Mr. Equity K.A. Ofori-Atta, a resigned High Court Judge of good notoriety, with its Executive Secretary being Mr Yaw Sarpong Boateng, a recognized attorney, who will be answerable for planning the regulatory exercises of the Commission.

Different individuals from the Board are Mrs. Elizabeth Asare (Deputy Chairperson), Ms. Victoria D. E. Susuawu (Member), Dr. Edith Dankwa ((Member), Nana Kwame Duah (Member), and Mr. David Oppon-Kusi (Member).

Initiating the Commission on Monday, nineteenth October, President Akufo-Addo noticed that the excursion to actualizing the Right to Information Bill, which was first drafted by the Institute of Economic Affairs, started in 1999.
