New Voter’s ID Card Registration, Know When And Where To Register

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has been given the mandate by the highest court of the land (Supreme Court) after been dragged in the mud by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the use of Ghana card and Passport as the breeder document for the re-registration exercise to compile a new voter’s register.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) was of the view that making these two documents which are uncommon to some Ghanaians as the breeder document without accepting the current voter ID card will end up disenfranchising many Ghanaians in the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission of Ghana after winning the battle in court on Thursday, June, 27th 2020 have already liaised their boots and ready to hit grounds on Tuesday 30th, June 2020. has compiled a number of Regions with the various phases and polling centers of which the registration will take place.
