Member of Parliament for Asawase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka used the thumbprint of his daughter to cast his vote.

Today marks the day Ghana goes to the polls and Member Of Parliament hoping to retain his seat in government on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka was present at the polling station to cast his vote.

Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka  went through the verification process smoothly until he went into the ballot box and used his underage daughter’s thumbprint to cast vote instead of his. Netizens have reacted to this saying it goes against the rules guarding the on-going election and must be questioned.
