President of the Creative Arts Council Mark Okraku Mantey has shed more light on the current feud between two Ghanaian Gospel giants, Patience Nyarko and Joe Mettle.
Barely a week ago, Joe Mettle and Patience Nyarko have been the talk of the town after Patience Nyarko made an ‘uncalled for’ comment.
Genuinely, it sounds unclear as to what actually Joe Mettle has done to Patience Nyarko for this while.
Well, Programmes Manager of Hitz FM Mark Okraku Mantey adding his view to the supposed beef on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’program said that the female musician is outraged after Joe Mettle won a VGMA award over her.
It would be recalled that some years ago Patience Nyarko’s ‘Obi Nyani Me’ was undoubtedly the biggest song in Ghana that everybody knew on the street at the time the organizers of VGMA awarded Joe Mettle.
Okraku Mantey has observed that the sudden feud between the two is as a result of Patience fighting back what she thought was rightfully hers some time back.
Meanwhile, Mantey who now forms part of the current VGMA board reiterated that he wouldn’t have voted for Joe Mettle if he was at the board room then.
