The current lockdown which was observed in Accra and Kumasi has finally been lifted. This was revealed by the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
Nana Addo addressed the nation for the 7th time on measures his government has taken to curb the spread of Coronavirus in Ghana.
In his address, he mentioned that there has been the need to lift the restriction of movement (lockdown) in these areas, however, adherence to the required protocols will still be enforced.
Also, he revealed that the number of Coronavirus in Ghana is now 1042. A total of 86,000 contacts have been traced with samples taken. Out of the 86,000 contacts, 68591 test results have been received with 1042 testing positive.
