Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampim who became popular with his name, Hon. Aponkye has received extra funds from both local and foreigners I support of his “mole Koko” lockdown distribution in his district.
After the president announced a partial lockdown in some regions due to the outbreak of the virus, Hon Aponkye and his women organizer Mrs Nijat Mahamudu Ibrahim started cooking porridge meal locally referred to as “mole Koko” in small quantities for the residents in the district.
In a recent interview on Joy News, Hon. Aponkye disclosed how some residents broke into a grocery store just to get something to eat.
He stated that this act motivated him to use his little resources to feed people in his district with the porridge meal.
The generous act of Hon Aponkye has touched the hearts of many as they have made some donations in support of Hon Aponkye’s vision of feeding the vulnerable.
