NEWS IN : Ghana To Receive First Batch Of COVID-19 Vaccines Today

Minister-designate for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has declared that Ghana is relied upon to get the first bunch of COVID-19 vaccines today.

He declared during brief remarks at the Conference and Donor Presentation for the Sustainable Development of Yendi Municipal Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2020.

He noticed that he was at the program “however I have another commitment on our COVID-19 antibodies that are showing up before the expected time [Monday] morning.”

The Food and Drugs Authority has endorsed the AstraZeneca and Sputnik V antibodies for use in Ghana.

The government has additionally thought about Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson antibodies.
