Ghana’s Coronavirus Cases Hits 3,091; Here Is The Regional Breakdown

Ghana’s Coronavirus cases now stand at 3,091 as of May 07, 2020, with the Bono Region recording its first case.

This follows after new cases of COVID -19 amounting to a total of were 372 were recorded at the various parts of the country.

From the new report, the Bono Region is now the 13th out of the 16 regions in Ghana that have recorded cases of COVID – 19.

Jaman North District recorded the new case in the Bono Region according to the Ghana Health Service website.

The Ghana Health Service has also stated that a total of 137,924 tests have been done so far and recovery has increased to 303 from the previous 294.

The Greater Accra Region has 2,579 cases. The Region currently remains the Region with the highest number of cases.

The Ashanti Region is next with 165 cases followed by the Eastern Region with 95.
