Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for Kintampo North in the Bono East Region, George Wood is dead.
His demise comes hours after he complained of ill health and was admitted to the Kintampo Government Hospital.
He got to the Kintampo Regional Hospital at about 3:pm, yesterday, February 1 and died one hour after.
Doctors are yet to make the actual cause of the NDC Chairman’s death to the general public.
The passing of Mr George Wood was announced by former Member of Parliament for the constituency, Kwasi Etu Bonde.
