Flagbearer of the All People’s Party Shows full Support of Decisions Taken By The Electoral Commission.


Kwesi Addai Odike, Kofi Koranteng, Kofi Game, Kwesi Busumbru and Nana Agyenim Boateng are names of the five aspiring presidential candidates who got disqualified by the Electoral Commission.

On a media briefing which took place on Monday, October 19, Madam Jean Mensa, the Chair of the Electoral Commission explained the reasons why the candidates were disqualified.

“There were issues with the forms submitted by the disqualified candidates. Some had forged signature and others had non-existing names”, Madam Jean explain.

Mr. Hassan Ayariga, who was selected as the Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress, strongly supported the Electoral Commission on disqualifying some of the Candidates.

“The Electoral Commission has strong reasons for taking such decisions”, he said.

Mr. Ayariga narrates how he also got disqualified as a presidential candidate in the 2016 election. He thinks the reason behind this year’s disqualification is because of some criminalities on the part of the disqualified candidates.

He said all these on a program with Kwame Afrifa- Mensah on Happy FM.
