Ghanaian musician, Fancy Gadam has now resorted to selling ‘Waakye’, a locally prepared food made with rice and beans for survival.
The talented musician is now into the Waakye business due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has brought everything to a standstill.
In a video available to A2zgh.com, Fancy Gadam was seen in the process of preparing his waakye and making it ready for the market.
Fancy Gadam is not the only musician who is now into the Waakye selling business.
Hip Life father, Reggie Rockstone is also known to be a Waakye seller. However, he started the ‘Waakye’ business before the Coronavirus outbreak.
The singer is popular for the hit song ‘Total Cheat’ that features Africa’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie.
Fancy became a household name after he won the Best New Artist Award at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.
He also won the 2020 Best Afrobeat Entertainer at the International Reggae and World Music Awards.
