BREAKING: 17 Coronavirus Patients Have Fully Recovered In Ghana

17 people have been confirmed to have fully recovered from the deadly Coronavirus disease in Ghana.

At the recent press briefing, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Aboagye made this known stating that 17 Coronavirus patients have fully recovered in Ghana as at April 14, 2020.

Coronavirus

Making his submission, he said;

“We have 17 persons who have recorded double negatives and are obviously clinically cured”.

Currently, we have a definition of recovered as those who are positive and have recorded consecutive negative.”

Dr Patrick Aboagye also disclosed that there are 66 people who have currently taken the first test and that has proven negative. He indicated that they are awaiting the second test in order to confirm whether they can be discharged from the hospital or otherwise.

He added that the number of Coronavirus cases in Ghana is still the same although there were false reports circulating that the number has increased.
