BREAKING: Coronavirus Case Count In Ghana Now 1042


The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in his recent state of the nation address to address the measures taken to curb the spread of Coronavirus indicated that the number of Coronavirus in Ghana is now 1042.


According to the President, a total of 86,000 contacts have been traced with samples taken. Out of the 86,000 contacts, 68591 test results have been received with 1042 testing positive.

The remaining 18,000 test results are yet-to-be received.

He added that the current lockdown which was observed in Accra and Kumasi has finally been lifted.

According to the president, there has been the need to lift the restriction of movement (lockdown) in these areas, however, adherence to the required protocols will still be enforced.
