Charterhouse has finally explained the reason why they lifted VGMA ban on Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
When the news came out, many doubted and questioned the authenticity of the news making rounds on social media.
Finally, Head of Events and Public Relations at Charterhouse, Robert Klah, has come out to confirm and explain the reason for their decision.
According to Mr. Robert Klah was on Simply Shobiz with MzGee on TV3 on Saturday February 6 where he confirmed the news.
According to Mr Klah, the ban has come to serve it purpose and so they have decided to lift ban the musicians.
“The ban has served its purpose,” he said.
He continued that, organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) are yet to officially write to the artists and inform them about the decision.
Recall that Charterhouse banned Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale indefinitely from the awards scheme over their misconduct at the 20th anniversary of the VGMAs.
