Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan, has remarked that he has lost respect for Joy FM after the radio station shared a post of his disreputable penalty miss.
In a post shared by Joy FM on their Twitter page, they post a photo of Asamoah Gyan’s penalty miss at the 2010 world cup in South Africa, asking Ghanaians whether the incident still hurts.
They wrote; “Fellow Ghanaians, does Asamoah Gyan’s penalty still hurt you? Let’s hear from you, share your tweets with the hashtag #JoySMS”
Well, upon the player sighting the post, he felt like the radio station is selling him to Ghanaians to insults him which is an act of disrespect. “I have lost Respect for you guys. From today, @Joy997FM is out on my list. You should be ashamed of your self. Learn how to respect. Smh” he noted.
