Carlos Ahenkorah, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, has resigned after admitting he breached COVID-19 protocols despite been tested positive.
The appointee served as Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry and Member of Parliament for Tema East.
Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah was given an offer by the President to either resign or be terminated.
The final offer was given to him after the MP allowed meetings to a few radio broadcasts in Accra affirming he visited registration centers notwithstanding his COVID-19 postive status.
As indicated by Mr Ahenkorah, he was admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday, however was released on Friday morning after his condition improved.
He likewise affirmed that he was diagnosed of the deadly disease on 23 June and was asked self-detach himself from the populace, yet he chose to visit a several registration centers.
