A 17-year old girl was punished by policemen for defying the lockdown order has received massive help from Ghanaians.
The young lady was arrested and punished with her other three young ladies weeks ago for going out when the country was observing lockdown.
When the police caught her, she revealed that she was going to visit her boyfriend with her two friends.
Reporters of UTV news followed up to the home of the young lady to ask their parents why they allowed them to go out.
Upon arrival, the reporters got to know that the 17-Year old girl lives in a small kiosk with her parents and 6 other siblings.
The sad story of the young ladies and their living conditions touched the hearts of Ghanaians after it was aired on UTV.
Some benevolent people then contributed to the welfare of the 17-Year old girl, her family, and her two other friends.
From a video A2zgh.com has seen UTV’s Instagram, the three girls have received cash gifts of Ghc7,500, foodstuffs.
Companies like AshFoam and Kapfam Ghana Ltd have also donated a refrigerator, a 43″ TV to them.
Nana Akua Afriyie MP for Ablekuma North has also rented a chamber and hall apartment for the family.
